Winter Body Care

One if my least favourite things about winter is how dry it makes everything. As someone with dry skin, this makes everything even worse. So, today, I thought that I'd share with you four of my favourite body care products to help my skin make it through the dry season.
This is the thickest body butter I've ever tried, and it's perfect if you want a really heavy duty moisturizer. It's also makes you smell like a dessert for a while after you use it!

Coconut Oil
This stuff is incredibly moisturizing, and perfect for just about everything. Not only does it smooth away any patches of dead skin, it also works wonders for dry hair. You can mix it with a little sugar for a super moisturizing DIY sugar scrub, too!

My Top 6 Reads of 2016

I read a lot of books in 2016 (over 60!),so I thought that I'd share some of my favourites. I think that I've got a pretty good variety here, so hopefully there's something for everyone!

This is a book that I absolutely adore. It's so rare for me to really like the characters in a YA book, and I absolutely loved all of the ones in Six of Crows.
The story starts when Kaz Brekker is offered the chance to be rich beyond his wildest dreams, if only he can pull off a seemingly impossible heist. But he can't do it by himself, so he pulls together the oddest my most deadly pair of misfits he can find.

2016 Blog Review

2016 was a crazy, crazy year for me. Though I'm not going to get into details here, that did mean that I wasn't as active in my blog as I would have liked. I did think, though, that I could share some what I think were this years best post from this blog, and add a quote from each one! While I didn't get to blog as much as I would have liked to, I started putting more effort into individual posts and, in my opinion, making better posts.
I know this post has more of a Valentines aesthetic than an early August one,  but quite honestly, I don't care. Valentines day has some of my favourite decorations, and I usually end up using them throughout the whole year.In this post, I thought that I'd share some of my favourite subtle pink makeup favourites. Bright, Barbie pinks are all well and good, but most days, I'm more into softer pink tones.

December Favourites 2016

December has been such a crazy month, I can't believe that it's finally over! I hope that you all had wonderful holidays, and that you got to spend time with your family and friends.
So, this is the last “favourites” post of 2016! I won't get too sentimental now, though, I'll save that for the next post.
I got this as a Christmas present, and I've been using it ever since! It smells absolutely amazing, and I love it's texture. My bathroom always smells wonderful after using this in the shower!

I grabbed this when I was in need of a new earl grey tea, and I absolutely love it! It's hard to describe: it's like a standard earl grey tea, but not quite as plain. I've been drinking this almost every morning lately!
